Winter is New England is tough on all living things but it also batters things like this wooden walkway leading out over the sand dunes that lead to the beach and the Atlantic Ocean just over there at the horizon in this photograph I took on a windy, frigid cold winter's day. The dog and I took a walk to see how the recent storm had left the Massachusetts coastline. We have had so many beach destroying storms along this section of New England and I take the dog and we go off to document it as often as we can. She loves the coast as much as I do. Too windy on this day for any Frisbee play but we always have a stick just in case.
Eunice was always a creative child, so much so that her parents sent her for private art lessons with a renowned quadriplegic Massachusetts artist Anthony G. Tony Estrella. She painted things that interested an 11-year-old, such as horses using oils. He also introduced her to Charcoal. He also told her to never stop creating but life got in the way, as it always does. She was also a Girl Scout who loved camping and sang in the school chorus groups as well as in the church choir. When she was old enough to get a job all she did was work and time off was spent with friends she actually worked with. She met a man she would later marry, that was a trucker and being the late 70's early 80's trucking movies had her wanting to learn. Once...

Thanks Linda and just after that was the boiling sea. I know I should use tripod but since I have always held have 35mm cameras and shot from the hip I continued the bad habit but with a dog it is hard :(
