Description
New England is known for its Fall Foliage and the Maple Trees grab all the attention when there is no mountain to take your breath away. Canada was wise to choose the Maple Leaf for her beauty and VT sprinkled just enough maple seeds to keep the landscapes delightful, but this beauty resides not too far from my home in New Hampshire.
132 species many from Asia also grow here in New England.
During late winter to early spring in northeastern North America, when the night-to-day temperatures change from freezing to thawing, maple trees may be tapped for sap to manufacture maple syrup. YUM
