As I visited the coast of Massachusetts with my Mom and pup and we walked this fishing village I came upon these boats at rest. They were tied off to their moorings. The fishermen who own them were getting much needed rest I am sure because when they are in the harbor they are making no money. They fish for Lobster, Cod, Haddock, Scallops, shrimp and Flounder can't forget the Flounder as a pot of chowder is nothing with out this delish fish included just saying. We know our Seafood here in New England. We love our Fishermen. So many regulations they must follow I am amazed we still have any in business. There is nothing like a fresh seafood. We just have to add steamed or Fried Clams to the above catch and what a feast we have! Do you like SEAFOOD. Support your local Men and Woman who fish for your food when you can. I love this picture for it's beauty along the coast in New England I am so blessed to call this are home. . Boats In The Water

Nice capture of the fishing boats/village. We have the same problem out here on the west coast with regulations and many boats have been sold or abandoned due to lack of fish/over regulation and in some cases over fishing.

yes it is a mess and we have others who come within the international line and use nets but no shutting them down just a shame when it is the only thing they know how to do :(
